But shingles were only the beginning. Snow and ice management were a critical part of this project. Working in collaboration with our trusted partners at Wintertek, GPC Services, and TRA, we equipped the roof with a TRA snow retention system. This system ensures that heavy snow doesn’t suddenly slide off the roof, protecting both the structure and the areas below from damage. The retention system was installed across the entire roof for full coverage, complete with product and installation warranties.
To further protect against ice dams and winter damage, we added a Wintertek snow melt system paired with integrated heat cables. This system keeps water flowing safely through the gutters and downspouts, reducing the risk of blockages, icicles, and costly water intrusion.
To complement the snow melt design, our team installed 225 linear feet of seamless aluminum gutters with matching downspouts. Heat cables were routed through both the gutters and downspouts to keep them clear all season long.
